Privacy, in plain words.
The details DT Studio Supply receives when you order or send a message, the jobs they are used for, where they go and how to ask about them.
DT Studio Supply is operated by Digital Talk LLC, 1706 N 1200 W Ste 4-2061, Layton, UT 84041.
Who we are
DT Studio Supply is run by Digital Talk LLC, 1706 N 1200 W Ste 4-2061, Layton, UT 84041, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It applies to dtstudiosupply.com, to orders placed on it and to messages you send us.
Questions about your details, and requests to see, correct or erase them, go to support@dtstudiosupply.com.
What you give us at checkout
To take and deliver an order, the checkout form asks for:
- your email address, and a phone number if you choose to give one;
- your first and last name;
- your shipping address: street address, apartment or suite if you have one, city, state and ZIP code;
- your confirmation that you are 18 or older and agree to our Terms of Service and this policy;
- the products and quantities in your bag;
- your card details: name on the card, card number, expiry date and security code.
The form has no billing address field and never asks for your birth date or an ID document. There is no account to create and no password to remember.
Payment information
Card payments are handled by Woosa Payments (Woosa B.V., KvK 71751513, Zwolle, the Netherlands) in partnership with Adyen N.V., licensed and supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank. The card details you enter at checkout are for the processor and are used only to authorize the payment for that order. We do not store your card number or security code on our servers.
Each order is paid for once, at checkout, and that is the end of it: no subscription, no membership, no card saved for next time.Once the card details reach the processor, how they are handled is set by the processor’s privacy notice and by the card networks’ rules.
What you give us when you write to us
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your order number if the message is about an order, a topic and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your name as your email program shows it, and whatever you write.
To stop the form being used for spam, the site briefly holds the sending device’s IP address in memory to count how many messages it has sent in the last 10 minutes. It is not written to a database or kept in the message. The form also has a hidden field that people leave empty and automated programs tend to fill in; its contents are discarded.
What is collected automatically
Like most websites, the servers that run this site keep short technical logs of the requests they receive: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the browser and device type the browser reports. We use them to keep the site running and secure.
The bag lives in local storage inside your browser, on your own device, which is why it is waiting for you on your next visit. All it records is which products you picked and how many; we receive it only when you send the checkout form. Empty the bag, or clear this site’s data in the browser, and it is gone.
This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.
How we use it
- to process, pack and deliver your order, and to handle a return or refund;
- to contact you about your order, for example if an address needs checking;
- to answer your messages;
- to prevent fraud and misuse of the site and the contact form;
- to hold the order records our bookkeeping and consumer law obligations call for.
How long records stay
An order record stays on file while it is needed for delivery, for any return or refund, and for the legal and bookkeeping duties that come with a sale. A message stays while it helps us answer you and deal with any follow-up on the same subject. Server logs are short-lived and are deleted after a brief period.
Your requests
You may ask to see the personal details we hold on you, to have them corrected, or to have them erased where no law obliges us to keep them. Send the request to support@dtstudiosupply.com from the email address on your order or message, which lets us check that it comes from you.
Depending on the state you live in, you may have further rights under its privacy law, such as the right to know what categories of information we collect, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither). Using any of these rights never changes how we deal with you.
Keeping it safe
Pages load over HTTPS. Only the staff who pack, ship and answer questions about an order can open its details. No system can be made perfectly secure, so if you suspect your details have been misused, tell us by email at once.
Age
Orders are accepted only from people aged 18 and over, and we do not set out to collect details from anyone younger. If a child under 18 has sent us details, tell us and we will erase them.
Where it is processed
Our business is in the United States, and every order ships to an address in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. Your information is handled in the United States. Our payment processor is based in the Netherlands, so payment information is also processed there.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page before the change takes effect. The version on this page is the one that applies.
